Swixer

 CHALLENGE

Swixer is a Swedish full production service company founded in 2012 by Fatima Lagerås. They are a one-stop-shop for production companies and advertising agencies and help both national and international clients with Film, TV, Digital and Stills, in Sweden and Europe. With a passion for storytelling and a solution-oriented and flexible mindset, Swixer can assist both large and small production companies with the right help.

Fatima Lagerås, founder and sole owner of Swixer, began her career as a reporter at Swedish crime show Efterlyst. After a number of years in TV and film production, she noticed that the international production companies needed local help and contacts and that was the starting point of her own service company. In order to grow her business, Fatima identified a need to increase awareness of Swixer among potential investors, industry media and the general public. She wanted Swixer to be written and talked about in business-, industry- and lifestyle media, covering her as the founder as well as the company as a whole.

SOLUTION

In order to increase awareness and reach a wider target group, Story's mission was to get publicity in relevant media and profile Fatima as the CEO. The goal was to get coverage in business-, industry- and lifestyle media and to put a face to the brand Swixer. Story's mission was to produce three different media angles adapted for the different media type, produce press materials for each media type, media train Fatima before the interviews, produce press photos and pitch all different angles to different media.

RESULTS

The story about Swixer was picked up by Resumé (twice!), BreakIt and Femina. Resumé focused on Swixer as a company and Fatima's recent recruitment of star director Giulio Musi (who was both mentioned in Resumé's vignette Folk På Väg and further interviewed for their recurring vignette Q&A). BreakIt primarily created an interest in Fatima as a female entrepreneur and wrote a long interview about Fatima and her journey with Swixer - how the company was founded and its business concept, what the goals look like looking forward and what Fatimas future dreams for the company. Femina in turn wrote a longer article for their print magazine where Fatima was interviewed focusing on how Swixer was founded, the road to development of Swixer as the company it is today and what the future goals for Swixer looks like, and of course - what it was like to work with world famous stars such as Katherine Longford from 13 Reasons Why and the series Normal People.

The total reach of the project was 574 000 and four very nice, high-quality publications with several images.
